word of the week

Just an update on some word of the week sketches i did for class:

word: Grotesque

117b- character/ environment Ideations

I'm finally in 117b and I can't wait to absorb the knowledge in this class!

Some character Ideations:
I tried playing with some shapes but I feel that some of them could be even more pushed. I had fun though and was excited to see my characters taking shape.

Environments: 

I definitely explored a lot for the environments and I was trying to figure out some lighting and a couple story moments. This was a bit more challenging because I  had to think a lot about the depth and lighting but it was a great learning experience.

starbucks

Went to Starbucks the other day to buy some new mugs for the holidays. Makes me want the holidays to come sooner :-(. Cheers to upcoming finals!
