week update: some class projects!

I've starting working in Zbrush and boy, is it one difficult program to use! Great results though!

I also took part in something called the 24 hour animation contest. We had a group of 5 students and we had 24 hours to produce a 30 second short film with the theme of " what if you had 24 hours left to live?" Jonathan Apilado and I did the visdev. I worked on Character designs and the first background, while he worked on color and and the second background. We both worked together to figure out the style of the flim. Kimberley Mucha and Edric Yamamoto were our animators and they focused on the movements of the characters during the time lapse and on our two main characters. Justin Vu was the one who came up with our story and was our amazing editor for our film. Overall, great experience! and I couldn't ask for better people to work with!

Kitchen object study

First Assignment for the semester. I had to start over because I was getting so confused with Photoshop but I think I got the hang of it now. :) Still needs work...but I'm happy with how far I got!

Ani115

One of the most challenging classes I've ever had. Overall, I have improved compared to the beginning of the semester and can't wait to use what I've learned and apply it to future projects.

The Test:

1. Waiting Test (0-0:18)
2. 3 Barking Dachshunds (0:18- 1:08)
3.Wave Test ( 1:08-1:42)
4. Wind test ( 1:42- 1:58)
5.Coat Test ( 1:58- 2:22)
6. Chair Test 2:23- 2:56)

thank you to all who helped me :)
Especially Edric Yamamoto!

51a: Begining modeling

Finally took modeling and it was definitely a challenging experience. We had several different projects but the main one that we worked on was the flare gun. I think the flare gun was where my Ah-ha moment came and I was able finally figure out modeling. Overall, had fun and can't wait to learn more about modeling.
