painting outside for class

Today we got to paint outside for out class. We were very lucky that it was cool and shady which made it very relaxing :) So what we did was thumbnail 3 comps: One vertical rectangle, one horizontal, and one square. Then "block" in the darker areas. 

we then had to paint in the shadows with blue and paint the highlights with yellow. 

This was our location: the tower lawn. The sun was setting :( 

 the Classmates. 

Overall, it was fun but when I showed Inga my painting she said that I wasn't there yet. So gotta practice practice! I'm gonna start working on m egg tomorrow and make a sketchpad over the weekend :0 Yay!
